Pan Capital Appoints Jixin Dai to Lead Asia Expansion

Pan Capital, a global alternative investment firm specializing in energy and macro markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jixin Dai as Asia CIO and Head of Pan Capital (Hong Kong). Based in the firm’s newly established Hong Kong office, Mr. Dai will lead Pan Capital’s expansion across Asia, with a focus on trading and research.

Mr. Dai brings over 25 years of investment experience, having built a distinguished career across global macro investing, hedge fund management, and private markets. He previously served as a Portfolio Manager and Board Director at Soros Fund Management Hong Kong (SFMHK), where he was instrumental in launching and scaling the firm’s Asia operations. Most recently, he was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Xin Tian Fund Management, where he led cross-border investment strategies from Hong Kong and the U.S.

Mr. Dai holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from New York University and an EMBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. He serves on multiple boards across the U.S. and Asia, including advisory roles in venture-backed technology and healthcare companies.
